What is JPG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)?
JPG is a widely used image format that uses lossy compression to reduce file size while keeping visual quality acceptable for most uses.
JPG and JPEG are the same format; “.jpg” is simply the three-letter file extension commonly used by older systems. JPG images are perfect for the web, social media, and email because they balance quality and size.
